All data is sourced from official U.S. government APIs and public records — Congress.gov for legislation and member data, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) for campaign finance, and official state and federal sources for election information. BallotBox360 does not editorialize or alter this data.

BallotBox360 offers a free tier with core features, and a BallotBox360° subscription ($4.99/month, $34.99/year, or $79.99 lifetime) that unlocks AI bill summaries, full campaign finance data, city and state budget breakdowns, and unlimited candidate comparisons. Subscriptions on iOS are managed by Apple — you can cancel anytime in your App Store settings. The web version uses the same account.

On iOS: Open the App Store → tap your profile icon → Subscriptions → BallotBox360 → Cancel. On the web: subscriptions are managed through Apple. If you purchased a lifetime plan, no cancellation is needed. For any billing issues, contact us directly and we'll help.

No. BallotBox360 is built to be nonpartisan. The app presents raw government data — votes, bills, campaign finance, budgets — without editorial commentary. Party affiliation is shown only where it appears in official records (e.g., a senator's party registration). The goal is to give every citizen the same facts.

The AI is used to generate plain-English summaries of Congressional bills — translating dense legislative language into something any citizen can understand in 30 seconds. It does not generate opinions, predictions, or partisan analysis. AI features require a BallotBox360° subscription.

Congressional data and bills update every few hours. Campaign finance data refreshes daily from FEC public records. Election data is updated as races are scheduled and results are certified. News feeds pull from official government RSS sources continuously. BallotBox360° subscribers receive priority data refresh.

When you first open BallotBox360, the onboarding screen lets you choose your home state. You can change it anytime from the Settings screen (gear icon in the top-right). Your state determines which representatives, bills, and election deadlines are surfaced on your My Profile tab.

Since all data comes directly from government sources, most discrepancies reflect the source data. That said, if something looks wrong — a name, figure, or date — please email us at ballotbox360@gmail.com with the details and we'll investigate immediately.
